CITY EXPRESS, INC. ACQUIRES CHOICE LOGISTICS’ MASSACHUSETTS GROUND OPERATIONS; JANUARY 2004

Boston, Mass. (January 5, 2004) – City Express, Inc., Boston's largest privately owned messenger company, has acquired the Massachusetts ground courier operation of Choice Logistics.
The acquisition is expected to increase City Express' revenue to more than $11 million in 2004. In addition to its rush and scheduled ground courier services, City Express has added the warehousing and distribution operation formerly run in Massachusetts by Choice to its list of services. The City Express staff will increase to more than 300, enabling the company to continue its policy of immediately and comprehensively responding to individual client requests, while expanding its routes throughout New England.
Choice chose to sell its Massachusetts ground courier operation to City Express due to the company's commitment to customer service, according to Choice officials.
